Blogging is one of those things that you really are soley responsable for the success or failure of the project. Blogs are all about the effort put into them, even when you have to buy some of that effort, the amount put in determines how well the pay off. In other words, the more work you put into the blog, the more you are able to make with it. The old saying, “If you construct it, they will come”, is one that is not true in the advertising world of the internet. Immediately after you put together it, it’s important to maintain it, and prmote it and put your ads on it properly. You have to get your blog out there so that people can discover it and know it exists.
Blog marketing and advertising is certainly not something that will give you a limited income. The more you advertise and advertise, the better your chances of generating revenue or more money. Maybe you already have a blog all create. You have some stuff you advertise, you might even be making a steady stream of uncomplicated money with it. Well you want more profits; you want to make more money with your blog. What, oh I say what can you do? You do more to get exposure for it. Maybe you are able to start with the paid blog online directories and submit your blog to those. The best way to make more money is to take some of what you are making, and turn around and stuff it back into the site.
Of course if you aren’t making any money yet, there are free of cost tools as well, including the afore mentioned free of cost web directories. Just about each blog on-line allows comments, not all give good backlinks, but it’s worth 10 minutes to do a few a night. It’s just a useful, and effortless, way to get more vistors, people read you comment and want to see what your site is all about. For example, lets take a market like model airplanes. You have a blog on model airplanes, and you want more website traffic. Number one, find other sites about models, and airplanes. You can even use your direct get exposure for if you wish which would be model airplanes. Number 2, you pick out the top 10 or so blogs on your advertise(s), the ones at the top of the searches, that get plenty of website traffic, and comments already. C, or number 3 if you’ve been paying attention, I haven’t, not really, any way… you leave a comment with a link, some allow them in the comment, others have a form where you can put it. If your blog is of interest to them, they may even bookmark it, and become a regular reader.
Updating your site on a fairly regualr basis is a fantastic idea. Doing so will allow your readers to know when they can come back to your blog for new content. Update on a schedule if at all possible. If you tell them you will be updating once a day, do so. Or you just might end up with readers that will not follow you because they can not depend on you to give them what they are looking for; new fresh content.
When you use blog marketing and advertising to make a profit, the sky is the limit. How much you can make is determined by how much work you put into it. Work, self-discipline and persistence are the keys to success, that and being a bit evil, that helps. No matter what you are marketing and advertising, do you best, and never, never, ever quit, not even if your wife refuses to f… ummm, get’s mad at you.
